The Mersey Valley Countryside Warden Service is responsible for nearly 40 areas of countryside along the River Mersey, from the Manchester – Stockport boundary in the East to the Manchester Ship Canal in the West.

Covering many square miles of open green space, the countryside could be nearer to your doorstep than you might think.
