Free Environmental Education in your Local Countryside. A valuable education resource

The Mersey Valley Countryside Warden Service has over 15 years of experience of leading environmental education groups. We lead sessions suitable for all ages and abilities. Just let us know the needs of the group, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

What some satisfied group leaders have said:

Our trips to the Mersey Valley have always inspired both children and adults. Provision has always been focussed on the children's needs and the current curriculum topic: it is always aimed at the appropriate level for the children. The Education Wardens are always enthusiastic and are outstanding role models.

Kate Cross, Nursery Teacher at Stanley Grove Community Primary School.

The children have always really enjoyed the activities provided by the Mersey Valley Education Wardens. They are planned and led with the particular needs of our children and young people in mind.

Suzie Franklin, Leisure for Autism Project Co-ordinator.

The Mersey Valley Countryside Warden Service provides invaluable support helping local children to understand local issues. They are a very professional group of people who inspire our classes with both water safety and nature conservation issues.

Chris Harper, Head of P.S.E at Oakwood High School.

For many years the Mersey Valley Wardens have been involved with our school. Their knowledge and expertise has been invaluable and our children have benefited greatly from such positive learning experiences. The Mersey Valley Wardens are held in high regard by staff and children alike. The children respond so well to their professional and friendly approach.
